Your smile is one of your most important features. If you’re hesitating to smile so you can hide your missing, chipped, discolored, or crooked teeth, Cosmetic Dentistry can restore your smile and your confidence.

Do I need Cosmetic Dentistry?

If you’re considering treatment to improve the look of your teeth and smile, ask yourself a few simple questions:

  • Do you hesitate when you smile in photographs or when meeting someone for the first time?
  • Would you like to increase your self-confidence?
  • Do you want to look your best in social or professional situations?
  • Are you ready to reverse any dental imperfections you may have?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, cosmetic dentistry may be your solution for the smile you deserve.

What do you offer?

Treatments that can improve or restore the look of your smile are continually evolving. Harris Dental Arts offers the latest in advanced treatment options and technologies to help you achieve a beautiful, healthy, aesthetically brilliant smile.

Dental Implants

If you’ve lost a tooth (or a few teeth) due to injury or disease, dental implants can rejuvenate both your smile and your oral health. An implant is a synthetic tooth root in the shape of a post that is surgically placed into the jawbone. A replacement tooth is fixed to the post.

If you are missing one tooth, one implant will do the trick. If you are missing several teeth, a few strategically placed implants can support a permanent bridge or full denture.

Porcelain Veneers

You no longer need to hide your smile because of gaps, chips, stains, or misshapen teeth. With porcelain veneers, you can easily correct your dental imperfections.

Veneers are thin, custom-made shells made from tooth-colored materials (such as porcelain) and are designed to cover the front side of your teeth. Veneers are natural in appearance, and a perfect alternative for patients wanting to make minor adjustments to the look and feel of their smile.

Cosmetic Dental Bonding

Bonding is a conservative way to repair slightly chipped, discolored, or crooked teeth. A filling—in a shade perfectly matched to your tooth color—is placed onto your tooth to improve its appearance, and the filling “bonds” with your tooth. Bonding is less expensive than other cosmetic dentistry treatments and usually can be completed in one visit to our office. However, bonding can stain and is easier to break than other cosmetic treatments such as porcelain veneers, but can be easily patched or repaired in one visit.

Dental Bridges

Dental bridges may be used to replace missing teeth, help maintain the shape of your face, and alleviate stress on your bite. Dental bridges replace missing teeth with artificial teeth, and literally bridge the gap where one or more teeth may have been. Your dental bridges can be made from gold, alloys, porcelain, or a combination of these materials and is bonded onto surrounding teeth for support.

Professional At-Home Whitening

Tray bleaching uses custom-made trays and whitening gel only available through your dentist. Unlike strips, toothpastes or pain-on whiteners, this process whitens all your natural teeth and may contain ingredients intended to provide maximum comfort. At-home professional tray whitening generally takes 10-14 days, although you may notice results in as little as three to five days.

It is wise to consult with one of our staff before treating discolored teeth with any over-the-counter methods.
